Chathursi Building Material Suppliers (Private) Limited was established in year 2000 by its Founder Chairman Mr Tutor Pathirage who is a veteran in the industry of Building Solutions. By profession Mr Tudor Pathirage is a Charted Architect who has the passion towards Architecting Commercial and Residential premises and he has been successful at this for the past 50 years. He has won bids for large, medium and small construction projects purely based on his merit as a Professional turned Entrepreneur.
However in year 2000 he realized that most of his clients turned towards the cheapest available Building Contractor and the cheapest available Hardware Store to enjoy the cost advantage. Yet in most cases these clients did not trust the Building Contractor nor the Building Material Supplier as trust was not something that was possible to win within this industry easily, unless the client deploys a full-time project manager to supervise the work, and this would come at a very high cost.
This is when Mr Tudor Pathirage formed Chathursi Building Material Suppliers (Private) Limited to sell quality raw materials to the customers through his already established Hardware Store. Simultaneously he affiliates with a group of trustworthy and quality oriented Building Contactors, Quantity Surveyors, Architects, Structural Engineers and Project Managers who can be used to streamline the construction projects of his clients. Thereby Mr Tudor Pathirage positioned Chathursi Building Solutions as a trusted Building Solutions Provider who can offer construction related services along with quality constriction supplies that were sold through its Hardware Store.
From year 2008 to 2015, Mr Tudor Pathirage makes a gradual generational transition from himself to his son, Mr Chaminda Pathirage and Mr Chaminda Pathirage succeeds as the Chairman of Chathursi Building Material Suppliers (Private) Limited in the year of 2015. He continues the great work of the first generation and further expands the business by entering into the Land and Building Sales Business in year 2020. He uses modern web-based technologies to sell the Construction Services, Building Material Supplies, Selling of Lands and Buildings to make Chathursi Building Material Suppliers (Private) Limited much stronger in the eyes of its consumer while further enhancing the trust this organization has built with its customers.
